Miles Van Pelt, Assistant Professor of Old Testament at RTS Jackson, successfully defended his PhD dissertation on November 7, 2005, and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy of Old Testament from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His dissertation was entitled, “III-H Verbs in Biblical Hebrew: A Study of Short and Long Forms with Special Emphasis on the Wayyiqtol Conjugation.”
